Before you
get in touch.

What age group does the Montessori accept?

We accept children from 18 months to 3.5 years. Our classroom is intentionally mixed-age across this range — the three-year span is central to the Montessori method. Children typically stay with us until they transition to a primary school.

When does enrolment open?

We take a small number of new families each term. The main intake is in April (for the June start) and in October (for the January start). We maintain a waiting list — book a tour as early as possible to secure your spot in the process.

Is the café open to the public or just school parents?

The café is open to everyone — no connection to the school required. We're a neighbourhood spot. You don't need to have a child with us, or even any children at all, to come and enjoy a coffee.

Can I bring my child to the tour?

Yes. Children are welcome, though the observation is designed primarily for adults — you'll be watching the classroom in action, not interacting with the materials. Some parents find it easier to come without their child the first time, so they can focus on what they're seeing. Both approaches are fine.

Do you offer a trial period or settling-in program?

Yes — all new children go through a two-week settling-in process with shortened sessions and a gradual build-up. We do not expect any child to simply "drop in" from day one. Separation takes time, and we make space for it without rushing. Parents are involved every step of the way.
